"the 15th august is most important in the history of India. we celebrate this day with great enthusiasm every year. great preparations were made in the school early in the morning of the 15th august. all the students and teachers gathered in the school for independence day celebration. cultural programmes were arranged at school. one of our guest came forward to perform the flag- hoisting ceremony. the flag was hoisted at 7:50am. many dignitaries participated in the celebration. there were musical programmes related to national integrity and dance performances related to the memories of struggle by the national heroes for Independence . i helped to arrange dance and drawing programmes related with the events of struggle for independence.the dignitaries were welcomed. speech were given by a lot of students from the school. after the celebration there was lunch too. procession of students had been executed. the prize distribution for best students of various activities also took place. the function was over by the vote of thanks. happy independence day."
