Next week in citizenship we are having a visit from the Smoke Screan company. they are going to talk to us about the dangers of smoking.

We can't wait to see you and your school.

Gurupaurnima Celebration

In our school we celebrated Gurupaurnima .All students & teachers were involved in this function.Some students expressed their thought .Actually on this day Indian people show their gratitude to their Mentor , teacher , People who show them good way. This is the special day for Guru-Shishya(Teacher - Students).

 School had organised Drawing compitition .

 Samarth School visited on the occasion of this day.

They presented drama on cultured activity .

Citizenship - Cricket Catch Challenge

The year 9 Sports Leaders organised a sponsored cricket catch challenge for the year 7 students at Welland Park.

All 250 year 7 students participated in the challenge. 

They had 10 minutes to throw and catch the ball in teams of 5. 

It was a competition. Which team could make the most catches.

The winning team made 572 catches!

Before the challenge the students collected sponsors.

Here we are on the All Weather Pitch with the school in the background.

When 10 minutes was up Callum blew the whistle.

We raised £650 to buy sports equipment to bring to Snehalaya.

Hello from Welland Park!!!

Hi all at Snehlaya, sorry we haven't been blogging recently, we have been having a few technical problems with logging onto the blog at school. 7RSM have been very busy making poster about themselves to send to you in the post so look out for some of their fantastic work in the next few weeks or so!!
